I can't believe that my little man is almost 7 weeks. He is getting so big. It seems like just yesterday I was rubbing my big belly.
Walker J has been such a joy. He is such a good baby. I still can't get over him sleeping through the night starting at two weeks old!
I am absolutely loving every minute of being home with my boys. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
This weekend Lisa and I decided on the date of me going back to work. November 2nd is the big day. I will be going to part time for 2 weeks to try to get back in the swing of things and develope a new routine for getting us up and ready for work. I must say it is very emotional for me. I thought for sure by now I would be ready to go back, but I am in no way ready. I know that I will have both of my boys and my wonderful hubby right by my side every day at work, but it just won't be the same as spending the time with them at home. I love holding Walker while feeding him and him not looking away from my eyes, talk about heart melting!
I am very lucky to be able to take them with me. I couldn't imagine leaving them with a sitter. I just don't think I am ready to share them yet. Yes, I know that is selfish, but hey I'm their mom, I carried them for 9 months, I think I get to be a little selfish with them. hehehe. I just still want to be the one that they go to for their needs, for lovins, for hugs, for everything, but I also want to be able to give 110% to my job. So my big goal is to make sure I am doing everything I possibly can for them at work and not let it affect my job. I think I can do it! Plus it helps with having their daddy working with us in the office also. Robert just loves hanging out with him in the shop or running errands with him.
So in the end I know that everything will work out wonderfuly. I just need to get over the emotions and be happy that I am blessed enough to be able to take them with me!
The boys had their first sleep over since Walker was born. They slept at grandma and grandpa Martinez' house this weekend. Mommy and Daddy went out with some friends to let loose. It sure was nice, but I definately missed my boys!
Mom and Dads night out.

John bought me brand new applinaces last week, we were able to get them installed saturday!I just love them!!!! Now everything matches in our kitchen and works! hahaha.
We survived shutdown!! I sure didn't know if I was going to be able to handle this one, but I think I did a pretty darn good job this time! The boys and I got into a little routine and by the time shutdown was over and daddy was back it was a little weird to get back to our old routine again. But we are sure glad it is over and that daddy gets home at a decent time! I couldn't do it without him!
I guess not much else is going on.. We are just so excited for the fall/winter time we both love how nice and cozy this time of year is. I LOVE Christmas time, it is my favorite time of the year! I can't wait to listend to Christmas music while cleaning house and wrapping presents!
Hope everyone is doing great!!!
