31 More days!!!
Well we went to the doc last week and she has scheduled us to have little Walker on Aug. 27th, yup this daddy and aunt Mel's birthday!!! We are so excited we can hardly stand it!
My mom and aunt have been a HUGE help! My mom has already washed all his clothes for me. On Sunday my mom, aunt, and sisters came over and painted Walkers Nursery for us!!! It looks SOOO cute! I just love it.( Pictures coming soon) We need to do a few little touch-up's this week, but then we will be done! Time to start setting everything up! I don't know what I would do without them! I love you guys, Thanks for everything! I love that you love to paint! :0)
HOW WALKER J. IS GROWING-
Our baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that he's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon) ( COULD HAVE FOOLED ME, THIS LITTLE MAN IS CONSTANTLY MOVING!). Because it's so snug in your womb, he isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times he kicks should remain about the same. His kidneys are fully developed now, and his liver can process some waste products. Most of his basic physical development is now complete — he'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight. ( SO WILL MOMMY, YIKES!!!!!)
The doctor said he is doing great! Growing great. Heart sounds great. Have I mentioned how much I love my doctor? Well, I absolutely love her! She is wonderful. I would highly recommend her. After having Robert and the little issues I had during the surgery and recovery, I have been really worried about this delivery. Dr. Cannon has re-assured me that she is well aware of everything and will have everything under control. She told me that she will not let me go through what I did with Robert. And she has assured me that she will be the one to deliver our little bundle of joy.
Other then that not a whole lot has been going on. My brother Tysons wedding is this weekend. He is having Jordan and Robert walk in the line, I am a little nervous about that! I hope that Robert co-operates.
We are taking Robert up to the hospital tomorrow night for a little tour of labor and delivery at LDS hospital. I thought it was important for him to be with us so he can see where we will be for a few days. I know that he is going to get restless in the hospital, but I want to keep him there with us as much as possible. I don't want him to feel like we are shipping him off with grandparents while we spend time with Walker. I know that he is going to need a break here and there, just like daddy will, but I hope that we can make the best of the few days I will have to be in there, I can't wait for it to be the four of us. My family will be complete. Robert
is really starting to ask when we are going to " get Walkie" out. I think that he is getting a little anxious to meet his little brother.
Robert is doing great with his potty training. I am so happy that he decided to master it before Walker arrived. He has been enjoying his pool in the backyard. He would stay out there all night if we would let him. He also just recently got a bounce house given to him from his aunt Melanie and cousin "D". He LOVES it. It is such a joy to sit back and watch his little brain work as he plays. He has such an imagination. I don't know what I would do without my little man. I love him sooo much!
Well I guess that is it for now. We have a busy last few weeks as the 3 of us! Ty's wedding, a family reunion, Wyatt's first birthday, our bbq/baby shower, Miranda's baby shower, several birthdays, getting things organized at work, finishing Walkers room off, and making sure we get some quality time as the 3 of us!
*** Nursery pics and a belly pic soon! ****
