I have been so ready for summer! I am glad it is finally here! I know I know.. I won't be saying that when I am 9 months prego sweating to death, kicking Robert out of his kiddie pool! :0) But for now I am happy its here!
It seems like it will be over before we know it. I think it's just because we are looking forward to August and have so much to do before it gets here.
We desperately want to finish the backyard ( Mainly pouring all the cement), dog run, add more gravel to the sides of the house where John parks his vehicles, we have a MAJOR disaster in Walkers room right now so we need to get that organized so we can paint and start putting his stuff up, I need to do something with Roberts room , all of his toys and clutter, He also wants it painted so I am thinking about possibly changing it to Broncos!!
So we have 85 days to get all of this complete .. seems like a while right.. Well not to us! It seems like lately we have been both been so exhausted during the week or too busy watching Robert enjoy the outdoors that we don't get anything done! I guess it doesn't help that we are in bed by 9:30 either! Hey, the pregnancy is taking a toll on both of us I guess! hehe. Well then the weekend comes... Well we have so much going on that June is already come and gone in our book as far as weekends. With Graduations (( Congrats little sis I'm So proud of you!)), Weddings, Pictures, and a little mini vaca for me and the hubby! Then July will roll around and we have some stuff planned with Friends that we haven't hung out with at all this summer! Sheesh and before you know it the baby will be here! Room complete or not! hahahahaha.
So all I can do is apologize to everyone ahead of time if we can't make it to some family functions here and there. We would so much love to be able to go to every Sunday dinner, Camp trip, family reunion, birthday, and all that great stuff, but reality is we have so much family that it is entirely impossible. We know everyone loves to see Mr. Robert and that it is only going to get worse with Little walker, but we are trying to do our best for everyone to be able to see him at the LEAST once every 1-2 weeks. We are so thankful that we have family that is so involved and loves our little ones so much! I don't know what we would do without all of you! So thank you for being patient with us and accepting when we cannot make it somewhere, just know it is not because we don't want to be there, it's just that there is not enough time in the day to do everything we need/want to! (I think everyone knows how that feels)!!
I think as time goes on and we both get used to having such large families we will get better at all the holiday things and weekend trips. I just really want to thank everyone for being understanding. We are still a little new to having our own little family and are working on getting our own traditions and routines down for us and our children. I can't imagine the day our sons start their own families and their own traditions!!! But I guess it comes along eventually in everyones life!
We love you all and hope everyone is having a great spring/summer!
